The standard rooms are housed in a ultramodern wing behind the historical original hotel. There are only a handful of rooms in this traditional part of the hotel. Fjord view rooms are almost reliable to be in the ultramodern wing of the hotel on the top two or three floors with fine views over the water and beyond to the mountains.
