Thon hotel hallingdal is situated in ã…l, halfway between gol and geilo. The majestetic mountains around ã…l create a exclusive athmosphere. The hotel is located in the centre of beautiful ã…l - with a short walk to skiing facilities, museums and the cultural centre. The hotel offers free parking. The railway is within walking distance to the hotel. We possess 60 big and comfortable rooms, where six of these are suites and some are larger family rooms. Chalets are available for our guests. The restaurant borgarstugu offers a varied menu with traditional norwegian cuisine. We possess a feast hall facility for larger parties. For a more casual atmosphere we recommend our bar jegerstugu.

In aal you will find abundant alpine skiing centres, the longest toboggan slope in norway and well known entertainment areas like bergsjo and liatoppen.The summer and autumn season offers fishing, horse riding, swimming and the visiting of mountain farms.
