Today the hotel features the latest in comfort. Its 88 rooms are all recently renovated, and its central location makes it popular with overnight guests as well as for courses and conferences. Despite its classy atmosphere, the hotel has not forgotten in roots in the form of good food, history, culture and tradition. A part of hospitality is food: good, traditional and, not minimum, home-cooked food. Naturally, we serve the bergen specialty prinsefisk, potato dumplings with all the trimmings and mum's best meatballs. many visit us just because of our excellent kitchen. Cheery yet tasteful colours distinguish the complete hotel. The reception area features a combination of old and new.

In many ways, single of bergen's oldest hotels is also single of its newest. We possess been catering for pleased guests since 1918 and possess a central location in the heart of bergen, the big city with a small-town charm. We possess our own restaurant kaffistova. We offer you traditional norwegian cuisine and an international à la carte menu. Kaffistova is fully licensed.
