Multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk are also on hand to organise excursions to kristiansand zoo, book tickets and arrange transportation. On the fifth floor of the hotel there is a sun terrace; guests can relax here or possess a drink in the bar whilst browsing through flattering newspapers, playing a board game or spending some tranquil time in the reading corner. The egon restaurant has rustic decor with original features of its old barn walls, as well as wooden floors, beamed ceilings, and a central stone bar. An international menu of dishes which includes steak, fish, pizza, lasagne, tacos, burgers and salads, is served.
