Stiklestad national cultural centre is the battlefield where king olav haraldsson, in his fight for christening norway was killed on july 29, 1030. Just a short time after his death he was pronounced a saint - st olav. The hotel is located adjacent to the existing cultural center so that guests will feel the ancient atmosphere.
